When It Comes to Eloping, How Do You Go About Choosing the Right Photographer?

In the beginning, one must value experience above all else. Choosing an elopement photographer is just the beginning of your customer service journey. Take a look at these two examples of how customers might have felt:

Experience That Is Easily Affordable

This is the norm for the vast majority of photographers who try to entice you to book deals and a price that seems too good to be true. You look around for an affordable photographer, hire them, maybe hear from them a week or so before your elopement, and then they show up, take some pictures, and send you a decent gallery. They’re the same as any other supplier. While planning your elopement, however, you begin to wonder if you made a good choice in vendors. Is there a chance they’ll understand what I’m trying to convey? You’re not sure if a permit is required for the location of your ceremony. You might need a photography permit but aren’t sure if this is the case or how to go about acquiring one. You’ve spent a considerable amount of time researching possible activities for the reception, but the sheer number of possibilities has left you feeling overwhelmed. Alternating between here and there is a common occurrence. You may be pondering the optimal time for your ceremony and photo opportunities. You might be wondering when you need to begin preparing for the day. You’re not sure if you’ll have enough time to film everything you want to. You worried for a long time and were overstimulated by the numerous possibilities. You could have used some direction, and it would have been nice if someone had provided it.

A Completely Unique Experience

You have scheduled time with a complete elopement package. To help you get in the mood for your elopement, we’ve prepared a special welcome gift based on your shared passions as a couple. Following your reservation, you will receive a comprehensive questionnaire designed to learn more about you and your intended spouse, your shared values, and the elopement you envision creating together. Your photographer will use the information you provide in the questionnaire to put together an individualized itinerary for your elopement at three distinct locations, complete with activities, a timeline tailored to your preferences, and details about each venue. Once you and your future spouse have decided on a venue, your photographer will send over a checklist, vendor recommendations, and next steps advice. Your already high level of assurance has been bolstered by the planning assistance.

Your photographer will be in touch with you to see how you’re doing and offer any help you might need as the date of your elopement approaches. You and your photographer should have a zoom call a month before your elopement to go over the plan and make sure everything is in order. The location of the meeting, the time and date of the elopement, and some encouraging words are all included in an email sent out one week in advance. You feel completely supported and guided through a procedure you’ve never encountered before thanks to the constant communication and assistance.

Within a day of your elopement, you’ll have access to a preview gallery showcasing your entire special day. You can feel closer to your friends and family and continue to revel in the excitement of your elopement by quickly sharing your joyous news with them.

Hazography is the full-service experience. Having been through an elopement myself, I know how crucial it is to feel safe and secure in your chosen location. I guarantee that my customers will always feel properly directed, at ease, and cared for. You won’t have to worry about anything at all because you’ll be well taken care of and led through the process the whole time.

The Enticing

People who look at someone’s Instagram and exclaim “I LOVE those photos” are complimenting two aspects of the picture: the pose and the editing.

Your photos are only as good as your posing. Posing isn’t like how it usually goes (where the elopement photographer tells you where to put your hands and to look lovingly into each other’s eyes; yuck, David). Couples are given prompts to act out in order to capture genuine expressions of joy and emotion. I’ll have them tell you what kinds of fruits and vegetables they like best, or I’ll have you run up and give them a surprise hug from behind. As a result of using prompts, you can focus less on how you look and more on having fun. You can tell when somebody is enjoying

Themselves.

A couple’s first impression is the film’s editing. Editing can range from airy and bright to warm and dark and moody, and everywhere in between. Check out the photographer’s past work to make sure their editing style fits with the vibe you’re going for and represents the vibe you want to share with the world on your social media and walls. The look strikes me as both romantic and classic because of its warm and moody tone.
